It’s been a while since I updated because work has been pretty crazy of late. But I got my respite of sorts over the weekend, before getting sucked back into the whirlpool of busy-ness again.
Cherie, Li Ying and myself booked it a while back at Amara Sanctuary Resort, and boy we did have a blast. Some girl-time was really needed after being so busy at work too.
Deluxe room – the cheapest room within Amara Sanctuary. Pretty room, and very warm and comfortable too!
The hotel had a kacang puteh cart too. And the best part was that it was free, so we 3 girls were happily munching on the nuts while waiting for the shuttle bus to get us to Sentosa Cove!
So we decided to head to Kith for dinner after much discussion, and online reviews. Cherie herself reckoned that the food was good based on her experience at the Park Mall outlet, so that was where we decided to plunk our butts down for good food!
Aglio Olio e Funghi (mine), steak sandwiches for the girls and truffle fries. Love their food!
We decided to check out W Hotel too and we were wow-ed by their swankiness and how incredibly modern their interior was. Needless to say their room rates are crazily expensive too. What do you expect when it’s Sentosa Cove?
We checked out #fullsteamahead, a beach party that was happening on that Saturday night at Tanjong Beach. The music was honestly pretty bad in my honest opinion – it was trance and I really hated it. Just my luck to have a bad ‘clubbing’ experience of sorts. Maybe Zouk would’ve been way better – especially since I’m not really the clubbing type of person.
We went to Slappy Cakes at RWS after we checked out for brunch. Honestly speaking we didn’t find their food very nice, it was somewhat mediocre. Perhaps it’s also because I’ve actually had my fair share of better foods in other cafes. Better luck next time!
