By far, 1 of the most moving love songs I’ve ever heard from Robbie Williams :’) Even though this song dates back to 1997, it was only before F1 that I knew of this song.. And because I couldn’t get tickets to F1 this year, I had to resort to YouTube to find all the Robbie Williams songs that I knew of and listen to them all.

This one had both of us singing to it continually, especially the chorus. It’s really moving, and even til now I can’t stop thinking about it. If ever Robbie Williams comes back to Singapore again for a concert, I’d definitely get the tickets.

Angels

I sit and wait
Does an angel contemplate my fate?
Do they know the places where we go
When we’re grey and old?
‘Cause I’ve been told
That salvation lets their wings unfold

So when I’m lying in my bed
Thoughts runnin’ through my head
And I feel that love is dead
I’m lovin’ angels instead

And through it all
She offers me protection
A lot of love and affection
Whether I’m right or wrong
And down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me
I know that life won’t break me
When I come to call
She won’t forsake me
I’m lovin’ angels instead

When I’m feelin’ weak
And my pain walks down a one way street
I look above and I know I’ll always be blessed with love

And as the feeling grows
She breathes flesh to my bones
And when love is dead
I’m lovin’ angels instead

And through it all
She offers me protection
A lot of love and affection
Whether I’m right or wrong
And down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me
I know that life won’t break me
When I come to call
She won’t forsake me
I’m lovin’ angels instead

And through it all
She offers me protection
A lot of love and affection
Whether I’m right or wrong
And down the waterfall
Wherever it may take me
I know that life won’t break me
When I come to call
She won’t forsake me
I’m lovin’ angels instead
